Welcome to our second installment of our new weekly series! As you know, last week Punxsutawney Phil called for six more weeks of winter. For many of us, that turned out to be a big ole’ lie…but with weather conditions in the United States varying from blizzards in the Northeast to the high 90s in Texas, we started thinking—what is winter like all over the world? In that spirit we compiled a few of our favorite icy (and not so icy) winter landscapes from across the globe.

So whether you believe Spring is right around the corner or feel like the sun will never shine again, we hope you will find a moment to appreciate the beauty of winter across this wide, amazing world. Regardless of what that tricky little groundhog says.
