How To Create Project Folders
Have multiple people collaborating on a video project? Working on a few different projects at a time? Just need organization in your life? Project Folders are exactly what you need!
Creating Project Folders for a specific project or theme is the easiest way to share your curated content with anyone, keep tabs on multiple projects, or organize your clips before you download them.
1. Adding a project folder
Once you find a clip you like, simply hover over it and click the “+ Folder” button.
2. Click “+ create new folder”
You can create folders for as many categories as you prefer and name them accordingly. If you choose not to name a new folder, your saved clips will be labeled “Uncategorized.” (You can always go back and edit folder names later on.)
3. Title your folder
Once you’ve create a folder, you can also enter a description of the contents or project.
4. Locating your folder
To locate previous folders, simply click “Project Folder” under the Account tab.
6. Project Folders Page
The Project Folders page displays all of your folders. Notice the “Uncategorized” folder; if you don’t create a specific folder, or forget to select a folder for a clip, they will end up here.
7. Sharing your Project Folder
Once you’ve created a Project Folder, you can share it publicly using the blue link at the top. Sharing a Project Folder will allow anyone you like to see (but not edit) the content, whether they have a subscription to VideoBlocks or not.
