A Word from a VideoBlocks Winner
A few weeks ago we were extatic to announce the winners of our VideoBlocks Educators Photo Contest. We asked teachers to take a picture of their class using technology for education and include how they would use $1,000 and a year long subscription to VideoBlocks.com. Out of all of the enteries, the lucky kids and staff at John Simatovich Elementary came out on top.
We recently got in touch with the teachers who entered, Mr. Smith and Mr. Guillen, to see what they’ve been up to and how they’re using their cash prize and subscription. In true VideoBlocks fashion, they responded with this video. We loved it and just had to share!
Their school puts together a morning announcement news program and uses VideoBlocks clips and production music to make it come to life! With the cash prize, they’ve already purchased a license to the Adobe Creative Suite and have plans to buy a new video camera in the future, too.
Thanks for the update, Mr. Smith and Mr. Guillen! We’re so happy to see your students learning through technology in the classroom! Good luck with the rest of your school year and all of your stellar broadcasts to come!
